Lucky Day

Wednesday, December 29th, 2004

What a lucky day I had yesterday! My Dad drove up to drop my sister off at the airport, and then took Dan and me to Rigazzi’s, an Italian restaurant on The Hill. Lately, all I’ve been in the mood to eat is either a green-pepper pizza or grilled cheese. But the small pizza was $13! So I settled on a chicken parmesan sandwich.

It didn’t seem like we had been waiting long for our food, but our waitress comes up to us with a green pepper pizza, and asks if we would like it. It was a mistake from the kitchen, and we looked hungry, she said.

I got a free green pepper pizza! What a lucky day.

Today is “get a move on” day, where Dan and I have to work really hard to get the last half of our apartment packed and cleaned. But not until we go to St. Louis Bread Company and get me a pumpkin muffin and house latte. Mmmm.
