Champagne Shenannigans
Monday, April 30th, 2007On Sunday I had a few friends over for brunch, and in anticipation of mimosas, I put a bottle of Sofia Coppola Blanc des blancs champagne in the freezer to chill for an extra few minutes.
I guess I forgot about it…
Luckily, the bottle comes wrapped tightly in a pretty pink cellophane bag, so when the cork exploded off, all the champagne froze inside the bag, leaving me a fluffy concoction of champagne shavings.
So for breakfast this morning? A snow cone of iced champagne and tangerine juice.
