Tapioca Dance

Our first week of The Moxie officially being over is…almost over.

We started off with Me and You and Everyone We Know, a quirky love story by Miranda July.

I finally got a chance to watch it on Sunday and really enjoyed it. Lots of memorable lines, and possibly one of the funniest internet chat scenes I’ve seen.

Tomorrow, we open Murderball, and continue playing Me and You. I’m really excited for Murderball and think it will be a huge success.

Dan’s been writing about the things he’s learned over the past week, but I’ll just add my own list here, in case someone here doesn’t always read his blog as well…I know you’re out there somewhere…

• Fitz’s Orange Soda Pop is an amazing seller. So is diet coke.
• People are willing to buy whole bottles of wine for their show.
• I need to call Technicolor on a daily basis before and after films are scheduled to be picked up.
• Films can apparantly miss their flights.
• If, in a bind, Dan and I can run this entire operation by ourselves.
• WE’RE FINALLY OPEN!!!
